Coffee With the Principal - 10/9 @ 9:30am

You're invited to join Principal Virata and the Tyee PTSA for the first Coffee Talk of the year! This is a wonderful opportunity for all families to meet Principal Virata and the Tyee PTSA Presidents in person. We’ll dedicate at least half of the session to an open Q&A, giving you a chance to ask questions and receive helpful information.

We'll be serving coffee and pastries, so please RSVP if you plan to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!

6th Grade Families - Teacher and Staff Appreciation! 

6th Grade Families: please help us show our appreciation to the Tyee teachers and staff! We are excited to host a bagel bar on October 15 with help and donations from 6th-grade families! Please sign up to volunteer or donate here. 

Here’s the plan for the day:
  • Donations can be dropped off in the office after 7:00 a.m.
  • Volunteers will help collect donations and set up from 8:30–10:30 a.m.
  • Cleanup will take place from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Don't have time to shop for food or volunteer, but still want to help? please consider making a donation (of any amount) to the following 2025~2026 Tyee middle school PTSA Teachers Appreciation Fund here. 
 

Volunteers Needed

Library Volunteer - The Tyee Library is looking for volunteers to help during lunch. 
6th Grade Staff Appreciation - Bagel Bar - Volunteers needed for the staff appreciation (see above for more info)
Volunteer to Support Vision/Hearing Screening - Volunteers needed to support vision and hearing screening.

Volunteers need to have completed a BSD Volunteer Background check (Level 3) before volunteering.  If you need to complete the BSD background check, please visit: https://bsd405.org/get-involved/volunteer/

Support the 2025-26 Tyee Bucks Fundraising Drive

Join hands in bolstering Tyee's educational experiences through the "Tyee Bucks" fundraising campaign. Your contributions play a pivotal role in fueling Tyee's field trips, equipping classrooms, empowering teachers with grants, sparking student social events, driving PTSA programs & clubs, and beyond. This initiative stands as the primary financial backbone for Tyee PTSA.

Our fundraising goal is $35,000! If you haven’t had a chance to contribute yet, we encourage you to do so. While a suggested donation of $150 per Tyee student is recommended, we truly appreciate any amount that feels right for you. Your generosity makes a profound impact, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude.
