REFLECTIONS CONGRATULATIONS 2006/2007! |

Reflections is a program sponsoredby the National PTSA that encourages students in elementary, middle and high school to express their creativity through dance, music, literature, visual arts, photography and film. This years theme was "My Favorite Place." Tyee would like to recognize the following students for their participation: Visual art- Marigold Bays-Muchmore; Jordan Chin; Minjin Ko; Stacey Taumoefolau; Amy Yuan and Jane Yuan. Literature-Cassie Burgess; Aleandra Grove; Chandlis Hupf; Monique Saysana; Stacey Taumoefolau and Vicki Yaobarnes. Photography-Jamie Douthitt; Gwen Gillies; Michael Harman and Andra Kent. The artwork and literature was displayed in the Tyee Library in December and then continued to exhibit at Crossroads Mall from Jan 9th-14th. We are pleased to announce that Amy Yuan and Chandlis Hupf recieved Awards for Excellence at the Bellevue Council level. Chandlis also recieved a $10 gift certificate from the Bellevue University Bookstore. We congradulate all our participants and encourage you to submit something for next year. Next year’s theme for Reflections is “I can make a difference by...” Students are encouraged to create and submit works of art in the following areas: literature, musical composition, visual arts, photograph, film/video and choreography/dance. Important friendly note: Please save a copy, picture or tape of your work for your future reference, if your work goes out of the school it will be hard to get it back and in some occasions it will not.
